Describing himself as a "corpse within MPB", his unique musical style which granted him a passionate cult following is characterized by minimalism, repetition and eclecticism, and his writings are permeated by grotesque, shocking and offensive imagery; acerbic allusions to popular culture; metafictional and transgressive devices; absurdist, surreal and oftentimes macabre scenarios; pessimism; foul language; nihilism; and scatological and black comedy – although he has repeatedly denied that his work is purposefully humorous. |
