Gilles Simeoni is a lawyer and politician from Corsica, France serving as Mayor of Bastia since 2026. He was previously mayor of Bastia from 2014 to 2016 and served as president of the executive council of Corsica from 2015 until his resignation in 2026. Notably, Simeoni served as the Corsican nationalist Yvan Colonna's lawyer at his trial for the assassination of Claude Érignac.
