Yoichi Ochiai

Yoichi Ochiai is a Japanese media artist, entrepreneur, and academic. He has a doctorate from the University of Tokyo, and is a professor at the University of Tsukuba Library; Information and Media Professor and Director of the Centre for Digital Nature Development and Research; Specially-appointed professor at Digital Hollywood University; as well as a visiting professor at Osaka University of Arts and Kyoto City University of Arts, and Kanazawa College of Art. Since 2025 he has also held a position as associate professor at the University of Tokyo Graduate School of Frontier Sciences, Department of Complexity Science and Engineering.
