# Verified Handles

> Public entries (people, organisations, things) with their official social media accounts and other identifiers, gathered from public sources and Wikidata. Most entries carry no badge; "Verified" marks one the Verified Handles team has checked. Every public entry is open data: read it as JSON with no account, or connect an AI agent over MCP.

## Entries

- An entry is at https://verifiedhandles.org/<vhid> (11 digits) or https://verifiedhandles.org/<short>; its data at https://verifiedhandles.org/api/v1/entities/<vhid or short>.
- Up to 50 entries at once: https://verifiedhandles.org/api/v1/entities?ids=<key>,<key>,… (each key answered as the single read answers it).
